This is the first sketch up model I have developed in the ARCH1101 course, as displayed in my sectional drawings above I have represented the word "abandoned" by a hollowed out triangular prism surrounded by squares and rectangles, i have chosen to do this as i believe the large open space within the triangle provides a sense of loneliness whilst the endless amount of spacial activity provided by the squares represents liveliness and thus provokes the feeling of abandonment for a viewer within the space of the triangle.

I have represented the verb "falling" in two ways, one in a visual and literal manner (the spaces falling from above) whilst at the same time i have attempted to invoke a sense of endless falling to a viewer within the space. The curved walls all slope downwards, directing the viewer in one way, down. The use of curved walls also eliminates the sense of an end/stopping point thus developing the sense that the falling never comes to an end.
